United Therapeutics' revenues increase by $24.4 million in second quarter 2015

United Therapeutics Corporation today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015. "Orenitram sales grew nearly 300% as compared to the second quarter of 2014 when the product was first launched," said Roger Jeffs, Ph.D., United Therapeutics' President and Co-Chief Executive Officer.

Bran flakes with raisins and added sugar promote plaque acid

Elevated dental plaque acid is a risk factor that contributes to cavities in children. But eating bran flakes with raisins containing no added sugar does not promote more acid in dental plaque than bran flakes alone, according to new research at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Anesthesiology: An anesthesiologist is trained to provide pain relief and maintenance, or restoration, of a stable condition during and immediately following an operation or an obstetric or diagnostic procedure.
