Although there are existing techniques to make three-dimensional tissues from heart cells, the new method dramatically reduces the number of cells needed, making it an easier, cheaper, and more efficient system.
Colorcon Inc. and Evonik Industries AG have announced the signing of a cooperation agreement for the marketing and technical support of Acryl-EZEĀ®, aqueous acrylic enteric system.
"Journalists from across Africa announced the creation of the first continent-wide professional association of health journalists," South Africa's Health-e reports. "The new organization, the African Health Journalists Association, aims to improve the quality and quantity of reporting on health issues so that people across the continent can make healthy choices for their lives," the news agency writes.
