ConjuChem Biotechnologies completes non-dilutive capital transaction

ConjuChem Biotechnologies Inc. ("ConjuChem") (TSX:CJB) today announced the completion of the transaction providing $5 million in new, non-dilutive capital to the Company. Dementia deaths & incidence on the rise

A new report highlights the fact that one in six deaths are caused by dementia in England. The report looked at death certificates between 2001 and 2009 and found that conditions such as Alzheimer's disease account for 15 per cent of deaths in England. Two-thirds of victims died in nursing or residential care homes and a third in hospital. Most campaigners claim that the actual figures may be higher and put it as one in three deaths. The report also says that the total number of deaths due to dementia are rising.

COVID-19 antibody levels stay more durable in vaccinated people with prior SARS-CoV-2 infection

In what is believed to be one of the largest studies of its kind, Johns Hopkins Medicine researchers have shown that antibody levels against SARS-CoV-2 (the COVID-19 virus) stay more durable — that is, remain higher over an extended period of time — in people who were infected by the virus and then received protection from two doses of messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine compared with those who only got immunized.
