Porvair Sciences announces a new easy-to-use 96-well Supported Liquid Extraction (SLE) microplate designed for high recovery extraction of analytes from biological fluids. Using the Porvair SLE plate high analyte recovery, free of proteins and phospholipids, is routinely obtainable without the need for offline steps such as protein precipitation.
BioInvent International AB, a biotech company developing novel antibody therapeutics for treatment of cancer, today announced that the April 15, 2013 online issue of the highly prestigious cancer research journal Cancer Cell features a data publication demonstrating potent anti-cancer activity of BI-505 in multiple preclinical myeloma tumor models.
Doctors at Beaumont Hospital, Troy have performed Michigan's first minimally invasive robotic procedure to correct atrial fibrillation, a prevalent and growing heart rhythm disorder.
