Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately held company, announced today that a multi-center in vitro study of its proprietary triple combination antiviral drug (TCAD) therapy showed substantially greater potency against seasonal and novel H1N1 influenza viruses than currently recommended single or double therapy and that the triple combination is active against drug-resistant flu strains.
Patients in the UK will gain a better service from their local pharmacist as Government plans for a more flexible, modernised service moved a step further towards implementation, Health Minister Rosie Winterton announced today.
The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) today announced more than $85 million in funding to support 75 new scientific research projects and scientific recruits to support a variety of cancer-fighting efforts in Texas. These new awards bring the total tally of funded grants to 502, amounting to nearly $841 million since the Institute opened its doors in 2009.
