A new study suggests that high mortality rates in small-bodied people, commonly known as pygmies, may be part of the reason for their small stature. The study, by Jay Stock and Andrea Migliano, both of the University of Cambridge, helps unravel the mystery of how small-bodied people got that way.
OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today that its 2% Convertible Senior Subordinated Notes due 2025 (the "notes") are convertible at the option of the holders and will remain convertible at least through July 6, 2010, as provided for in the Indenture governing the notes.
A study looking at the data of thousands of patients who suffered heart attacks has suggested treatment with high-potency statins offers a significantly improved chance of survival compared to those taking normal statins.
