The National Institutes of Health has launched a large international study to compare the safety and efficacy of three antiretroviral treatment regimens for pregnant women living with HIV and the safety of these regimens for their infants.
TaiGen Biotechnology Company, Limited today announced that they have signed an exclusive agreement with R-Pharm, a leading Russian pharmaceutical company, to develop and commercialize nemonoxacin (Taigexyn) in the Russian Federation, Turkey and other members of the Commonwealth Independent States.
"California regulators have fined hospitals just over $1 million for failing to report incidents such as leaving a foreign object in a patient after a surgery or operating on the wrong person, according to data released to California Watch by the California Department of Public Health."
A blood test can now be used to detect brain damage in amateur boxers. Deterioration of nerve cells seems to occur even after a two-month break from boxing. This is shown in a new study from the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
