Recent study published in the International Journal of Surgery investigates tested applicability of Google Glass in daily pediatric surgical practice
Repros Therapeutics Inc. today announced that the Company is sending a reply to the FDA's Division of Metabolism and Endocrinology Products following the Company's receipt of FDA's comments on the proposed Phase II study of Androxal® (enclomiphene) in the treatment of Type II diabetes under Repros' open IND. On February 2, 2010 the Company announced that Repros received confirmation from the Agency that the new IND is effective.
Following the recent G20 side event co-hosted by the Italian Government and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) focusing on the role of logistics in current and future health emergencies, WFP and the World Health Organization (WHO) are launching INITIATE2, a joint project to bring together emergency actors, research and academic institutions, and international and national partners to promote knowledge sharing and skills transfer for improved emergency response to health crises.
Patients with normal left ventricular function who undergo elective unprotected left main coronary artery (ULMCA) percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stents (DES) had favorable outcomes according to new research. Results of the multicenter, retrospective study are reported in the June issue of Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, a journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).
Adults with cerebral palsy are about twice as likely to develop cardiovascular disease and chronic respiratory disease compared to adults without cerebral palsy, according to a new study led by RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) and Brunel University London.
