A New York Institute of Technology research team led by Olga V. Savinova, Ph.D., assistant professor of biomedical sciences at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, has secured a five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

New research finds the human immune system has foregone evolutionary changes that would allow it to produce better antibodies in less time because the improved antibodies would be far more likely to attack the body's own tissues.
ZOLL Medical Corporation, a manufacturer of resuscitation devices and related software solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a follow-on contract for Airworthy CCT defibrillators by the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency.
