A new study, led by Professor Elina Hyppönen from UniSA's Australian Centre for Precision Health, presents the strongest evidence yet of a causal relationship between obesity and a wide range of serious conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, and neurological, musculoskeletal and respiratory afflictions.
Worldwide, there are estimated to be 10 million cases of measles and 197,000 deaths from the disease each year. While vaccines exist to protect children against measles, the vaccines are often difficult to store, costly to transport and may be prone to contamination when shipped to developing countries.
Nowadays, electron beam radiotherapy is conducted using metal collimators for the formation of radiation field around a tumor and protection of healthy organs and tissues.
The Associated Press reports that a high court decision to strike down the health law could be disruptive to Medicare's payment systems.
