The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is one of six institutions nationwide chosen by the National Institutes of Health to join their effort in tackling the most difficult-to-solve medical cases and develop ways to diagnose rare genetic disorders.
The Association of Community Cancer Centers today launches the Institute for Clinical Immuno-Oncology, the first of its kind initiative aimed to rapidly facilitate the adoption of immuno-oncology in the community cancer setting.
In line with CBME China's 15th anniversary, CBME China gives back to the community with a charity program to create awareness, draw attention and raise support for children with autism.
Researchers at Mount Sinai School of Medicine have found that patients with Alzheimer's disease have lower glucose utilization in the brain than those with normal cognitive function, and that those decreased levels may be detectable approximately 20 years prior to the first symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.
