Oxygen Biotherapeutics, Inc., a development stage biomedical company focused on developing oxygen-rich intravenous and topical products, today announced that Israeli soldiers who suffer severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) can be enrolled in the company's Phase II-b STOP-TBI trials at clinical sites in Israel.
The 2007 onset of the financial crisis that upended the U.S. economy and impacted global markets correlated closely with unprecedented numbers of patients seeking treatment for prescription drug addiction and painkiller abuse, according to leading rehabilitation center Cliffside Malibu. The Cliffside Index, the percentage of patients admitted for treatment related to those medications, rose over 60 percent between 2007 and 2008, and has continued to increase each year.
McKesson Pharmacy Systems and Automation is launching a new EnterpriseRx Flexible Delivery solution that expands the reach of outpatient and retail pharmacies beyond their local communities. The new solution will be introduced at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Midyear Clinical Meeting, which runs from December 8-12, 2013.
