Northwest Biotherapeutics, a U.S. biotechnology company developing DCVax® personalized immune therapies for solid tumor cancers, over the weekend in Chicago released promising new data on their Phase I trial of DCVax-Direct for direct injection into all types of inoperable solid tumors.
More than half of human cancers involve mutations in the p53 tumor-suppressor gene, suggesting the critical role played by the normal p53 protein in defending against cancer.
According to a University of California, San Diego paper published in the journal Basic and Applied Social Psychology, young adults are more envious than older adults. They are more envious over looks and for a wider range of other reasons, too. It also appears that both men and women are more likely to envy someone who is approximately their own age.
