Data from the pivotal coBRIM Phase III study, presented by Lead Investigator Dr James Larkin today at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting, demonstrate that Roche's investigational MEK inhibitor cobimetinib, used in combination with BRAF inhibitor vemurafenib, typically offers people with previously untreated advanced metastatic melanoma (BRAFV600 mutation-positive unresectable or metastatic) one full year (median 12.3 months) without their disease worsening.
Molecular imaging aims at the visualization of molecules or molecular events that occur at the cellular level. Clearly it also allows the possibility of looking inside the biochemical pathway at the cellular level and therefore enables us to look at the onset of diseases well before they are resolved into structural change.
The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded the Orthopedic Building at Rush University Medical Center Gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system and the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
