Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Inc. announced today that the Peripheral and Central Nervous System Drugs Advisory Committee to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration voted unanimously that clinical trial and postmarketing data for gadobutrol injection, a macrocyclic 1.0 molar gadolinium-based contrast agent (GBCA), support approval of the product for proposed use in diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in adults and children.
Allos Therapeutics, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted orphan drug designation to pralatrexate for the treatment of advanced or metastatic transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder, a form of bladder cancer. The Company is currently investigating pralatrexate in a Phase 2 clinical study in patients with advanced or metastatic relapsed TCC of the urinary bladder.
The transformation and degradation of natural landscapes due to human activities has been intensifying for several decades.
