Haemonetics Corporation today reported second quarter 2012 GAAP net revenues of $179.4 million, up 8%, net income of $13.9 million, down 35%, and earnings per share of $0.54, down 36%. A new low cost test for acute pancreatitis that gets results much faster than existing tests has been developed by scientists at The University of Texas at Austin.
A team of scientists, led by Dr. Krystof Bankiewicz, University of California-San Francisco, presented this significant advance, which allows, for the first time, to adjust parameters of vector infusion while delivering gene therapy, giving surgeon full control over gene transfer technology.
