IRIS International Inc. has announced that its Iris Molecular Diagnostics (IMD) group has successfully completed a retrospective study of stored leftover serum of 85 post-prostatectomy patients, men who had their prostate removed due to prostate cancer, using its investigational NADiA (Nucleic Acid Detection ImmunoAssay) PSA Assay.
The American Society for Radiation Oncology has issued an update to its recommendations for medical insurance coverage regarding the use of proton beam therapy to treat cancer.
Research at Brighton and Sussex Medical School has found that websites by cosmetic surgery providers offer incomplete information to perspective patients.
Researchers have demonstrated the safety of a potential vaccine against mesothelioma, a rare cancer associated primarily with asbestos exposure.
