Osteoarthritis is a leading cause of disability in the United States, affecting 27 million Americans. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health, is expanding its Tuberculosis Research Units program in an effort to drive innovation in tuberculosis (TB) research.
