A team reports in ACS' Journal of Proteome Research a study of the proteins and genes that allow squirrels' hearts to stay healthy during the winter.
Scientists are reporting development of a fast, simple, inexpensive method for determining whether chemicals in consumer products and workplaces may cause skin allergies in people - a method that does not involve use of animals. Their study appears in ACS' Chemical Research in Toxicology, a monthly journal.
One-year follow-up data from 907 Japanese patients who received the Zilver® PTX® drug-eluting stent showed positive results in keeping open the superficial femoral artery (SFA).
