The word to describe yesterday's Take McAlester Back events is inspiring. The group kicked of their official campaign Saturday morning on Choctaw Avenue. Take McAlester Back is a grassroots movement to get drugs out and arts in, all throughout Southeastern Oklahoma.
D-Pharm Ltd announced enrollment of patients with acute ischemic stroke into its Phase III clinical study of DP-b99 (MACSI). The first patient has been enrolled at the Wolfson Medical Center, Israel. The MACSI trial involves numerous medical centers in the US, Canada, Europe, Israel, South Africa, South Korea and Brazil. People with diabetes, who currently monitor their glucose with painful and inconvenient blood tests or implanted probes, could in the future get the same results quickly and non-invasively by safely shining a light into their eye, according to results of a study published in the March issue of the Journal of Diabetes Science and Technology.
