BD Medical, a segment of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has cleared the BD Intelliport Medication Management System, the first-of-its-kind medication management solution for manual IV bolus injections.
Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc. reported financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2010. The net loss for the second quarter of 2010 was $5.0 million, or $0.07 per basic and diluted share, on total revenues of $1.0 million, compared with a net loss of $54.8 million, or $0.92 per basic and diluted share on total revenues of $0.7 million for the second quarter of 2009.
The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, with the generous support of METI and L-3 Communications, Inc., have announced the first 25 recipients of the Frank Lanza Memorial Scholarship Program.
