Edleun Group, Inc., a leading consolidator, operator and developer of child care facilities in Canada, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of the previously announced three child care centres located in Calgary, Alberta. The acquisition of these three centres adds 283 licensed childcare spaces to the Company's portfolio and increases the total number of spaces to 1,851. Childhood obesity is directly related to how close kids live to convenience stores, according to the preliminary findings of a major Canadian study presented at the Entretiens Jacques-Cartier in Lyon, France.
