Settlements between PBMs, States, indicate need for 'stronger medicine' to address problems, Lazarus writes

Red and processed meats – How much to include in diet?

A latest Government-commissioned report advises people to eat less red meat and processed meat saying that it lowers the risk of developing cancer. The report will advise consumers eat no more than 2.5 oz (70g) of red or processed meat a day – the equivalent of three rashers of bacon. The farming and retail industries are, as predictable, not happy with the directives.

Pneumonia took the lives of nearly 1.1 million children under 5 in 2012 alone, with more than 99 percent of these deaths in developing countries, where access to healthcare facilities and treatment is out of reach for many children.
