Escalon Medical Corp. (NASDAQ: ESMC) today announced its operating results for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2014.
They say a good man is hard to find. Using a common chemotherapy agent, researchers at UCLA's Jonsson Cancer Center and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine found a way to move an important biomarker expressed in prostate cancer, shaking it loose from one location in a cell – where it could not be accessed by blood – to another, easier to target area.
Taking a position that the Obama administration's request for "clarification" from U.S. District Court Judge Roger Vinson regarding his recent ruling on the 26-state challenge to the health law's individual mandate is "wishful thinking," the involved states maintain that the judge's meaning was clear: he meant to stop work on the law's rollout.
