Ovarian tissue cryopreservation (OTC), harvesting and freezing ovarian tissue, is the most promising complication-free strategy to preserve potential fertility in pre-pubescent girls undergoing sterilising chemotherapy, according to a 13 year study by Fanny Chambon et al. in the journal, Human Fertility.
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in a public demonstration today hosted by His Majesty King Abdullah II, provided a stunning look at the new integrated healthcare technology system being implemented for the people of Jordan in the coming year.
With more than 86 million Americans living with prediabetes and nearly 90 percent of them unaware of it, the American Medical Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention today announced that they have joined forces to take urgent action to Prevent Diabetes STAT and are urging others to join in this critical effort.
A study published online ahead of print in the June 2011 edition of Obstetrics & Gynecology demonstrated that American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology guidelines for determining the likelihood that an ovarian mass is cancerous prior to surgery would accurately identify more women with ovarian cancer if the OVA1 blood test were used in place of the currently recommended CA 125 blood test.
Researchers have identified genetic variants that influence susceptibility to bovine digital dermatitis, an infectious condition that causes lameness of the hindfoot.
