In a new study from Lawson Health Research Institute and Western University, researchers partnered with youth receiving care at the First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program at London Health Sciences Centre to better understand personal perspectives on care and treatment outcomes.
Many patients live with low back pain that radiates to the buttock, groin, thigh, and even knees. The challenge for patients, and often their doctors, is determining the origin of the pain - the hip, the spine, or both.
Lannett Company, Inc. today announced that it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Sumatriptan Nasal Spray USP, 5 mg/spray and 20 mg/spray, the therapeutic equivalent to the reference listed drug Imitrex Nasal Spray, of GlaxoSmithKline.
Caliper Life Sciences, Inc., a leading provider of tools and services for drug discovery, life sciences research and molecular diagnostics, today introduced software and accessory items to enable the direct co-registration of images from multiple preclinical imaging modalities.
At a meeting which ended last night, the Executive Board of UNITAID approved a plan to step up efforts to enlist more countries to apply a solidarity levy on air tickets to provide additional funding for the health Millennium Development Goals. The Board approved a number of resolutions, among them the final phase of the establishment of a medicines patent pool, but a situation of depleting funds raises concerns for the many patients currently being treated by UNITAID.
