As March 20th grows near, excitement surrounding the upcoming charity fundraiser, "Unveil Your Pink", mounts. "Unveil Your Pink" is being organized by South Florida-based women's networking organization, Women On The Move, founded by Leslie Harris. The Charity Event, that benefits The South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure, features Real Housewife Of Atlanta, Lisa Wu Hartwell and DJ Cassidy.
In a busy health week for Congress, Republicans and Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee agreed on a proposal to fund the Children's Health Insurance Program for five more years, while Republicans and Democrats at the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee continued to pursue a joint plan to stabilize the individual health insurance market.

High blood pressure also called hypertension is a major health problem that when left untreated can lead to heart disease, stroke and kidney failure. African Americans are more likely to develop high blood pressure and develop it earlier in life than Caucasians. But the reasons for the heightened risk in African Americans still remained largely unknown, although new evidence may provide some insight.
