New research has found that brain diseases, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, are surfacing earlier, proving more fatal, and could have a greater societal impact than Covid-19.
According to a new study snacking between breakfast and lunch might damage the diet more than snacking at other times of the day. Women taking part in a weight loss study who ate a midmorning snack lost an average of 7 percent of their body weight over the course of a year, whereas women who did not snack before lunch lost 11 percent of their body weight the study revealed.
A team of researchers from Boston University has developed a new application to enable more precise measurement of the location of a fluorescent label in a DNA layer.
Phantom limb pain is the pain experienced following loss of a limb, either from injury or amputation.
New research from the Smidt Heart Institute shows that more patients-;specifically those with medical risk factors or from underserved communities-;opted into telehealth appointments for their cardiovascular care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
