The American Cancer Society along with CancerCare, Gilda's Club and several other medical groups have released a consensus statement listing the symptoms for ovarian cancer.
New research has answered one of the most common questions parents ask their doctors: How much milk should I be giving my children? The answer is two cups per day.
Controlling costs will require a devilish balancing act among practitioners who resist change, consumer demand and best practices, and IPAB should experiment before imposing radical changes systemwide. But given the devastating, and growing, effects of Medicare spending on the federal debt, the U.S. can't afford not to have an IPAB. The board should be embraced, not feared.
Doctors and hospital payment systems remain at the center of the health care reform debate as news outlets examine the benefits of replacing the current fee-for-service approach.
