AMRI today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the outstanding membership interests of Oso Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing, LLC for $110 million in cash.
Fast food restaurants take a lot of heat for the rise in obesity in the United States, but is it really their fault? A research survey conducted by two food economists revealed that most people believe individuals are to blame for their own obesity - not restaurants, grocery stores, farmers, or government policies. One implication from this research is that creating and enforcing public policies to help reduce obesity and/or encourage healthier food choices may not be as effective as policy makers would like.
A family history of bipolar, psychotic, or substance use disorders best differentiates adolescents and young adults with emerging bipolar disorder from those with unipolar depression, say Australian researchers.
While medications can quickly reduce depressive symptoms, monitoring work productivity can provide unique insight into whether a patient will require additional treatments to achieve long-term remission, a new study through the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute finds.
