The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index dropped slightly to 67.1 in July from June's second-highest score of 67.3 and shows a modest retraction in the nation's well-being rebound, with a fall in four of the six sub-indices comprising the Index. A portion of the overall dip is attributed to the continued decline in the Work Environment.
According to a new study published in the 12th July issue of the journal Pediatrics, one third of kids have blood cholesterol on the higher side and these levels might be overlooked with the current screening recommendations.

Now a study from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) researchers finds that a structure deep within the brain, believed to play an important role in regulating conscious control of goal-directed behavior, helps to optimize behavioral responses by predicting how difficult upcoming tasks will be.

Recipients are medical groups, IPAs, academic practices, and integrated delivery systems that responded to a request for proposals distributed in August 2010.
Elsevier and Sapienza University of Rome today announced a new agreement, providing researchers at the university with access to Reaxys, Elsevier's workflow solution for research chemists. Reflecting the way chemists think and work, Reaxys will enable researchers at Sapienza to quickly find the chemistry relevant for their needs and thereby raise their performance and output.
