Results of a comprehensive analysis of exercise and its protective role for high-risk breast cancer patients show that women who exercise not only live longer, but also are more likely to remain cancer-free after their treatment. Scientists from China report in The Lancet on the world's first confirmed case of human infection with a new avian influenza A H10N8 virus in a 73-year-old woman who died from the infection.
Given Imaging Ltd. today announced that new data presented at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2009 Conference show that by visualizing the small bowel with the PillCam® SB video capsule, physicians can detect the cause of occult gastrointestinal bleeding (OGIB) and adapt how they manage and treat these patients.

Affordable Medicines Facility-Malaria (AMFm), many of those familiar with it have told Nature that it must change or be phased out after this year," the magazine reports in an article examining the future of the pilot program that distributes malaria drugs in seven African countries.
