Neogenix Oncology announced today that it has filed a patent application with the US Patent and Trade Office for the NPC-1C antigen. This antigen appears to be tumor specific for pancreatic and colorectal tumors.
Compared with other mothers, women who deliver twins live longer, have more children than expected, bear babies at shorter intervals over a longer time, and are older at their last birth, according to a University of Utah study.
"Although food prices remain below their February 2011 peak, and the situation has not yet reached international crisis proportions, the recent spike is cause for serious concern," Robert Hormats, U.S. under-secretary of state for economic growth, energy, and the environment, writes in this Foreign Policy opinion piece.
