The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center will break ground Sept. 10 on a new $100 million, 184,000-square-foot cancer care building at one of the highest elevations in East Baltimore.
According to new research in the U.S., a diet high in dairy products can greatly increase a woman's chances of having twins.
President Obama's "budget request demonstrates a strong and well-timed endorsement of the Global Fund [to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria] in advance of the replenishment, and will hopefully leverage similarly strong pledges from other donors," Amanda Glassman, director of global health policy and a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development, and Jenny Ottenhoff, policy outreach associate at the center, write in the CGD's "Global Health Policy" blog.
New, screen-printed, flexible MRI coils may be able to reduce the amount of time it takes to get an MRI scan.
