Conmed Healthcare Management, Inc., a leading full service provider of correctional facility healthcare services to county detention centers, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Howard County, Maryland for an initial one-year term with options for nine one-year extensions, which are at the County's option effective July 1, 2012.
Individuals who describe themselves as spiritual are more likely to have used drugs, or be dependent on drugs, and also more likely to have generalized anxiety and neurotic disorders than those who are neither spiritual nor religious, research shows.
A new Walgreens study has found that patients starting high cholesterol (statin) medication for the first time who participated in enhanced face-to-face counseling sessions with a community pharmacist demonstrated better medication adherence than those that did not participate in the sessions.
