Oxford BioMedica plc, a leading gene therapy company, today announces that further analyses of the TroVax Renal Immunotherapy Survival Trial, a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III study, have been accepted for publication in Cancer Immunology, Immunotherapy, the official journal of the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy.
Two new studies show that many children are at high risk for diabetes and premature heart disease, according to British and U.S. reports here today at the American Diabetes Association's 64th Annual Scientific Sessions.
A study conducted by Marc Teichmann and Carole Azuar at the Brain and Spine Institute in Paris (France) and at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital shows a particularly marked impairment of moral emotions in patients with frontotemporal dementia.
Teleflex Incorporated today announced that it has received 510(k) market clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the company's ArrowEVOLUTION™ PICC with Chlorag+ard™ technology, a peripherally inserted central catheter with a Chlorhexedine-based solution that has been chemically-bonded into the surface of the catheter both intra- and extralumenally. Teleflex will launch the product for general availability in the United States in the fourth quarter.
