About one third of patients who have suffered a stroke end up with low vision, losing up to half of their visual field. This partial blindness was long considered irreversible, but recent studies have shown that vision training after optic nerve and brain damage can help restore or improve vision. A new study published in the journal Clinical Neurophysiology reports on key mechanisms of vision restoration: attention.
BioCision LLC today announced that it has agreed to a co-promotion program with Biohit Inc.. Biohit's ErgoTube microcentrifuge tubes will now be branded and sold by both Biohit Inc. and BioCision. In addition, Biohit Inc. will cross-promote BioCision's highly thermo-conductive CoolRack microfuge tube racks for use in combination with ErgoTubes.
Net sales increased by 17 percent to 116.1 MSEK (99.5). At comparable exchange rates sales increased by 23 percent and at comparable exchange rates excluding business acquired during the year net sales remained at the same level as last year.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is piloting new, personalized Veterans Health Benefits Handbooks. The handbooks are tailored to provide enrolled Veterans with the most relevant health benefits information based on their own specific eligibility. In essence, each handbook will be written for the individual Veteran.
