Today Biogen Idec announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved ALPROLIX [Coagulation Factor IX (Recombinant), Fc Fusion Protein], the first recombinant, DNA derived hemophilia B therapy with prolonged circulation in the body.
Management Health Solutions, Inc. (MHS), a leading provider of supply chain management solutions to hospitals and healthcare providers across the United States, announced today the completion of a $7.0 million Series B equity investment led by Enhanced Equity Fund, L.P. (Enhanced Equity). Radius Ventures, LLC (Radius), the company's existing institutional investor, also participated in the financing round.
Two years ago, a Baylor University researcher developed an effective and accurate electromagnetic sensor that provides diabetics a noninvasive alternative to reading their blood glucose levels. There was just one problem: it was too big to carry around.
