In the decade since the federal government's electronic health record (EHR) initiatives first became law, nearly all U.S. hospitals have adopted some form of EHR technology.
Epitomics, Inc., a biotechnology company commercializing the next generation of antibodies based on its groundbreaking Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (RabMAb®) technology, today announced that the Company has signed a contract with SAIC Frederick, Inc., operating under contract with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop several dozen rabbit monoclonal antibodies to support the Clinical Proteomic Technologies for Cancer (CPTC) program (www.proteomics.cancer.gov).
During embryonic development, cells migrate to their eventual location in the adult body plan and begin to differentiate into specific cell types. Thanks to new research at the University of Pennsylvania, there is new insight into how these processes regulate tissues formation in the heart.
Following a nationwide call for support for the NHS workforce, UEA students and staff have responded in their numbers, from undertaking placements to training former healthcare professionals who are re-joining the service at this time of national emergency.
MedImmune has announced that it has licensed its proprietary reverse genetics intellectual property to sanofi pasteur, the vaccines business of the sanofi-aventis Group, to support the development and construction of new vaccine strains to produce human seasonal, pre-pandemic and pandemic influenza vaccines.
