Positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of non-small cell lung cancer prior to receiving radiation therapy should not be the basis for determining areas that may benefit from higher doses of radiation, according to research presented by investigators at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital at the 51st ASTRO Annual Meeting (Abstract #2583/B-186).
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s reported plans to recommend routine HIV testing for patients in health care settings will mark a major change in the way HIV testing is conducted in the United States and is intended to increase testing nationwide.
The study conducted at the UPV/EHU-University of the Basque Country describes for the first time how these receptors participate in spermatogenesis.
