Gore is introducing this latest technology in its Gore REDUCE Clinical Study for prevention of recurrent stroke in patent foramen ovale (PFO) patients.
The Medical Innovation Bill tabled by Lord Saatchi and currently making its way through the UK's House of Lords "strikes at the heart of evidence-based medicine" and risks "opening the door to the use of less proven, or unproven, approaches such as complementary or alternative medicine", according to a new Editorial published in The Lancet Oncology.
A new study presented today at the 2014 Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) found that the thrill of extreme sports comes at a price: a higher risk for severe neck and head injuries.
