Today, at its Annual Meeting, the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) announced a partnership with Gateway EDI to provide claims processing and revenue management services to its membership. The AAOS Revenue Management Program powered by Gateway EDI will help AAOS members submit their claims faster and more accurately to increase revenue and cash flow.
Scientists have known for some time that these individuals carry a genetic mutation (known as CCR5-Ä32) that prevents the virus from entering the cells of the immune system but have been unable to account for the high levels of the gene in Scandinavia and relatively low levels in areas bordering the Mediterranean.
Melding the genetic and cellular analysis of tumors with how they appear in medical images could give physicians and other cancer therapy specialists new insights into how to best treat patients, especially those with brain cancer, according to a new study led by the Translational Genomics Research Institute, an affiliate of City of Hope.
