The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation is pleased to announce that its first international AWARE for All event will be held in the UK on 7 March, 2016 from 17:00 to 20:00 at London's Camden Centre on Euston Road.
Hundreds of environmental health professionals across the nation report challenges and research needs in six areas -; drinking water quality, wastewater management, healthy homes, food safety, public health pests and emerging issues such as disaster risk reduction and new facility types for body art and cannabis-infused products -; in research from Baylor University and partners.
Results from a large, retrospective analysis of inmates with a serious mental illness (SMI) underscores the financial burden of mental illness on the criminal justice and health and human services (HHS) systems, and may provide useful information to policy makers.
Researchers at the universities in Stockholm and Lund, in collaboration with researchers from the University of California, have found a new toxin that selectively targets mosquitos.
Teenagers are increasingly experiencing tinnitus, often a symptom of hearing loss, as a result of using ear buds to listen to music for long periods every day, as well as frequenting very noisy places like nightclubs, discos and rock concerts, according to a study performed in Brazil.
