A new interactive graphic developed by UK researchers and published by The BMJ today will help people decide what to do in everyday situations to protect themselves, and others, from covid-19.
BioElectronics Corp. (PINKSHEETS: BIEL), the maker of inexpensive, disposable drug-free anti-inflammatory devices, today announced it has been selected as a runner up in the medical device category of the 2009 Wall Street Journal Innovation Awards unveiled in today's global editions and online. The award was given for the Company's wearable patch that uses pulsed electromagnetic energy to deliver drug-free pain relief for a variety of conditions.
A research group led by Osaka University and the University of Tokyo found that the intracellular protein trafficking is important for higher brain functions such as learning and memory. The research group showed that a molecule, ARHGAP33 regulates synaptic functions and behaviors via intracellular protein trafficking and that the lack of ARHGAP33 causes neuropsychiatric disorder-related impaired higher brain functions.
The 2.3 percent tax is expected to raise $29 billion over 10 years.
