Javelin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a leading developer and marketer of specialty pharmaceutical products for pain management, today announced that it has submitted a New Drug Application (NDA) to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its investigational product candidate, Dylojectâ„¢ (diclofenac sodium) Injection, for the management of acute moderate-to-severe pain in adults.
Neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's disease are a major public health issue, especially given the ageing population in Europe and beyond. Parkinson's now affects more than 1 900 people per 100 000 among those aged 80 and older.
Female teenagers living in neighbourhoods with wide salary gaps and a low-income household show changes to their brain maturation that could indicate a higher risk of developing mental illness in adulthood, suggests a recently published study by Canadian researchers.
