Sudden infant death syndrome, also known as cot death and crib death, is defined as the death of an infant between the ages of one month and one year which remains unexplained after a thorough postmortem, investigation of the death scene and review of the clinical history.
Studies have long shown a difference in cognitive ability between high- and low-income children, but for the first time, scientists have found a difference between low-income children growing up in rural areas and those growing up in urban environments.
A new online system from the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies will help life sciences companies deliver life-saving products to market faster by simplifying the process for obtaining clinical trial liability insurance documentation. The new system, Chubb WORLDcert, allows drug and medical device developers to quickly secure required insurance documentation for clinical trials around the globe.
