Out of the Shadows: Women and Lung Cancer, a groundbreaking report released today by the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women's Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is a call to action on women's largest cancer challenge: lung cancer.
The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) joins communities, schools and other institutions across the nation in celebrating the contributions of their libraries and librarians during this year's National Library Week (April 11 - 17).
Plant-based eating patterns continue to soar in popularity and a group of nutrition researchers outlines the science behind this sustainable trend in a review paper, entitled "Cardiometabolic benefits of plant-based diets," which appears as an online advance in the Aug. 9, 2017, edition of Nutrients.
A study by researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) reinforces the finding that too little sleep or sleep patterns that are inconsistent with our body's "internal biological clock" may lead to increased risk of diabetes and obesity.
