Healthy adults who get the flu vaccine may help protect not only themselves but also older adults in their community at higher risk for serious complications from influenza, suggest findings from a new study published in Clinical Infectious Diseases. Researchers are developing a prototype of the world's first prosthetic 'intelligent' liner with integrated pressure sensors, which could be available to NHS patients in as little as three years.
Death and taxes have long been said to be the only two things guaranteed in life. Exactly when someone will die, in most instances, remains a mystery.
Sorin Group,, a global medical company and a leader in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, announced today that it received the CE Mark approval for the Mitroflow Aortic Pericardial Heart Valve with PRT.
