Metabolon, Inc., leaders in global metabolomics, biomarker discovery and biochemical analysis, announces the publication of "Metabolic Footprint of Diabetes: A Multiplatform Metabolomics Study in an Epidemiological Setting" in PLoS ONE.
Researchers from the University of Miami Department of Psychology participated in a multi-site study to examine different teaching models for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The study is one of the first to look at the fidelity of treatment models for preschoolers with autism.
The national study will look at the best clinical practice for treating pregnant women with schizophrenia and other psychosis by setting up an Australian wide database of pregnant women with schizophrenia and related disorders. The study will follow the woman and her baby during pregnancy up to the first year of the baby's life.
Nearly 90% of colon polyps greater than or equal to 6 mm in size detected at CT colonoscopy were demonstrated to represent true polyps at subsequent optical colonoscopy (the traditional method of viewing the colon and removing precancerous growths), according to a new study by researchers from the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI.
Results of the TRANSFORMS and FREEDOMS studies, the two pivotal Phase III clinical trials with oral FTY720 (fingolimod), have been published in The New England Journal of Medicine, providing comprehensive evidence to support the efficacy and safety profile of this first-in-class therapy for multiple sclerosis (MS).
