Antares Pharma, Inc. today announced that it has received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent Office for application 13/584,317. This application, along with U.S. Patent 8,251,947 granted in August of 2012, relate to Antares' injector technology for wet-dry injectable drugs such as lyophilized biologicals or peptide drugs that require dry storage to assure stability.
Depression may compound the risk of developing type 2 diabetes in people with such early warning signs of metabolic disease as obesity, high blood pressure and unhealthy cholesterol levels, according to researchers from McGill University, l'Université de Montréal, the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal and the University of Calgary.
An emergency physician-led workgroup has published five primary and seven secondary recommendations about how to maximize the value of health information exchange (HIE) in emergency departments.
